What is covered by a Cinch home protection plan?

It can cover over 25 home systems and appliances like your clothes washer, refrigerator, A/C and plumbing system. You can cover your appliances, your systems or both with our best-selling Complete Home Plan. No inspection or maintenance records are necessary.

When does coverage begin?

There is a 30-day waiting period from the time you purchase your plan to when you can request service. You'll be advised exactly when your coverage begins before you complete your purchase. In addition, your confirmation email and plan documents will include this information.

My home's systems and appliances are old. Does it matter?

No, it does not. You can get a Cinch home protection plan no matter how old your home's systems or appliances are as long as they are in good working order at the time of purchase.

How do you choose your service pros?

Every service pro in our network has undergone an extensive screening and selection process, which includes background and license checks plus verification of active liability insurance. We also continuously monitor and score them based on customer feedback.

What is NOT covered?

Other non-mechanical items in your home, like the roof, windows, walls and doors, are typically not included in protection plan coverage. Also, if a covered item was improperly installed or repaired, your plan will likely not cover it. It's important to read the details included in the General Exclusions and Limitations section of the terms and conditions.
